四川省平昌县佛头山森林公园位于县城所在地江口镇北侧，通河、巴河、龙潭三面盘绕，众山簇拥环护，状如众星拱月。佛头山因传说“观音大士派佛头童子下凡镇守龙潭溪”而得名。景区经营面积293公顷，海拔400-723米，森林覆盖率达90%。2002年四川省旅游局批准为AA级风景区，2003年作为镇龙山国家森林公园的重要组成部分被批准为国家级森林公园。2013年12月，四川省旅游部门专家组检查验收佛头山景区国家4A级风景区建设工作。
Sichuan Province Pingchang County Buddha Head Mountain Forest Park is located in the county on the north side of the river town, around the Tonghe, Ba River, three Longtan veliger, hills, surrounded by a moat, Zhuangru zhongxinggongyue. Buddha Head Mountain legend Guanyin Paifo head boy to guarding the Longtan River and its name. Area operating area of 293 hectares, 400-723 meters above sea level, the forest coverage rate of 90%. 2002 Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau approved the AA class scenic area, in 2003 as an important part of the town of long mountain national Forest Park was approved as a national Forest Park. In December 2013, the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Department expert group inspection and acceptance of the Buddha Mountain scenic spot national 4A level scenic area construction work.
